Problem comes in, when we have responsibilities we can't escape, which don't always allow us to follow our dreams.

In an idea world, it shouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately we don't live in an ideal world, there are things we can't turn away from, at least not easily. I guess in the end the question is, how far are you willing to go to fulfill your dreams.

It reminds me of a quote by Confucius, which goes something like:
"It doesn't matter how slow you go, so long as you don't stop".

Though, it's easier said than done :)
Good luck!

From my personal experience, I am still getting the Rs. 1199 added to my telephone bill for the the PTCL DSL connection, the modem of which was returned to their DSL officer almost 5 months ago out of frustration of phone line being dead.

This is so pathetic that I have to go to their main DSL office which is near sea view to get the bill corrected every month and yet they promise me that this will never happen again.

Another problem with ptcl DSL is that the upload speed is almost 25% of what the download speed has been offered to you and while you can browse the internet at a reasonable speed, the torrent downloads and gaming is a complete disaster.

Apart from all its past evilness, worldcall cable is I think the best choice for anyone who have this service available in their area

Yara! It is suppose to be there duty to change or upgrade telephone lines if any one wishes to install DSL. Secondly in my office (gulberg) 'Brain' is providing LAN connection so it is not concern with my telephone line.
For PTCL: If you promise something, than deliver it or don't take responsibilities.

Bro, as I have said so many times before, problem is not with connection, it's our telephone line. PTCL has better network in gulberg, so, your connection works great there, but their network is not good enough where we live so, no matter which connection we use we will keep getting disconnected. Unless of course if you can persuade PTCL to change our line :)
